Forged

Ensuring young people have access to high quality creative expression, activities and artistic support.

The Warren have always used creativity as a way to support and empower young people. We believe everyone is creative and that young people deserve access to quality creative workshops, projects and experiences, no matter who they are or where they come from.

Forged encompasses all of our creative activities, and all of the projects and sessions we run are decided upon by our Creative Committee, a group of young people aged between 16-25.

They ask and we deliver, running one-off workshops to long term projects in art, creative writing, spoken word, photography, music, digital art and whatever young people want to access.

We are proud to say we are part of Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisations and our creative team is made up of professional creatives to ensure young people get support from professionals from the industry.

Access to The Arts

giving young people opportunities to experience creativity, whether that be seeing a theatre show, partaking in an art workshop or making music in our studio. We run weekly creative sessions and yearly creative projects, campaigns and research initiatives, all of which are youth led.

Artistic Support and Development

supporting young people to develop their creative skills to carve their way into creative careers nationally.

High Quality Arts Spaces

Our building is home to amazing creative spaces that allows young people to up-skill, explore and connect to different art forms including a recording studio, rehearsal room, solo studio, dance studio and black box theatre space. Access to these is completely FREE to young people aged 16-25.
