We offer a really flexible space where you can let off steam, talk about the things that are on your mind, sit and relax, be seen and heard. If you are having a tough day and need someone to talk to we are here for you. You can access us in a spontaneous way if you are struggling and need to talk or you can book an appointment. You can have a one off session or do something weekly or you can come in if you’re feeling overwhelmed and just want to offload in the moment.
We work in a person centred way which means that we want to facilitate your ability to be your best self. It enables you to explore your own strengths and personal identity.
The person-centred counsellor will not tell you what to do. We believe that young people are incredibly resourceful and given a safe and respectful environment can use these resources to explore and understand their troubles and make positive change.
The counselling is led by you and you can bring whatever you would like to talk about to the sessions. We will help you explore your feelings, issues, behaviours and world view so that you can become more self-aware and gain greater independence.
